2019 Presidents Award
Congratulations to our very own Mick Spain who has been awarded the 2019 President’s award for outstanding contribution to the GAA over a prolonged period. Mikey has and continues to be a fantastic ambassador for our Club. This is huge honour for the Spain Family & Drumcullen GAA.
Mikey will be presented with his award on Friday March 8th at a special function in Croke Park. Tickets are available by contacting any of the Drumcullen committee before Feb 9th. Price €30.
I’m a Celeb fundraiser
The club is delighted to announce a major fund raising event to help with the development work currently underway at the grounds. The event is ‘I’m a Celeb Get Me Out of Here’ will be held on May 17th in the Tullamore Court Hotel. Much like the popular TV series the pre-registered contestants will become campmates for the night and will be put to the test in a variety of Bush Tucker Trials. Anyone interested in being a contestant on the night please call Toni Ryan on 085 1746665
Lotto
Numbers drawn on Saturday, 26th January were 9, 12, 16, & 18. Jackpot winner -none. Match 3 numbers – one winner received €150. Con Gath c/o Leona Gath. Promoter’s prize went to Andrew Moore. Next Jackpot is €4,150 and team 5 is on rota next week.
