Drumcullen led all the way in this hard-fought tie at Crinkle on Sunday morning. Leading 0-8 to 0-4 after 20 minutes, C&R then hit a purple patch giving a half-time score of 0-9 each. Drumcullen re-established the lead on the resumption and with some improved individual performances were never seriously troubled from there to the finish. The performance was enough on the day but a distinct improvement will be required before next Saturday’s 5pm start versus Lusmagh in Kinnitty. Team: E. Gath, B. O’Meara D. Guinan, D. Maher, B.
