I’m a Celeb fundraiser
We had a great start to the contestants fund raising events, with Gary Smyth and his team holding a Bingo night in Rath Hall on Saturday night last. Well done to Gary, Siobhán and all who helped out on the night. The next contestant to have their fundraiser is Martina Buckley. Martina is holding a night this Saturday the 9th with Magician & DJ. All support greatly appreciated for what should be another great night. The official launch night takes place in The Fighting Cocks on Friday 15th March. The Events Team will be present on the night with outfits and props to ‘whet the appetite’ of the contestants!!. Tickets for the main event on the 17th May are €25 can be purchased from the fund raising committee of Joe Troy, Toni Ryan, Pamela Nugent, or Dermot Horan.
Lotto
Numbers drawn on Saturday, 2nd March 2019 were 11, 22, 24, & 26. Jackpot winner -none. Match 3 numbers – none, five lucky dip each received €30. Shammy Nolan c/o self, Jacinta Mannion c/o D. Mannion, Billy Gath c/o Brian Gath, Padraic Cashin c/o Self, Joseph Mannion c/o self. Promoter’s prize went to Joe Mannion. Next Jackpot is €4,900 and team 5 is on rota next week.
Reunion
The club is holding a reunion of the ’67 & ’68 minor teams and also the 1967 U21 team. The event will take place in Dooly’s Hotel on 17th March at 7:30. For further details contact Dermot Horan on 087 6887076 and tickets cost €25.
President’s Award
Anyone looking for tickets to The 2019 President’s Award ceremony where Mikey Spain is receiving a President’s award, please contact Dermot Horan 087 6887076. The event takes place in Croke Park on Friday, March 8th 2019, in the Hogan Suite. Guests are asked to be in attendance from 6.30pm for pre-dinner drinks. Seated for live TV at 7.30pm. A bus will also be running from the club.
